Return Policy

We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn't right, we're here to make it easy.

You have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order to request a return. Once approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving and verifying the item.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused
  • In their original packaging, with all tags intact
  • Free from any signs of use, damage, or alteration

Please note:

  • Discounted and sale items are final sale and are not eligible for returns.
  • Custom-made orders are non-refundable.
  • We do not cover return shipping costs unless the item received was faulty or incorrect.

How to Request a Return

Email us at connect@thelivingedit.com using the email address linked to your order, with your order number in the subject line. Do not send items back before receiving approval — unapproved returns will not be accepted and will be sent back at your cost.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the approval status. If approved, your refund will be processed promptly to your original payment method.

 

Exchange Policy

If you're not satisfied with your order, you may request an exchange for the same value as the original purchase price—this may be for a style, or The Living Edit store credit. The Living Edit store credit is valid for 365 days (1 year) from the date it is issued.

We offer a 14-day exchange window, meaning you have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request an exchange for the same value as the purchase price. To qualify, items must be returned in the exact condition they were received: unused, unworn, with original tags intact, and in original packaging.

Please note: 

  • Discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Custom-made orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

How to Request an Exchange

To initiate an exchange, email us at connect@thelivingedit.com (using the email address linked to your purchase) and include your order number. If your exchange is approved, we will share the return address along with instructions on where and how to send your package.

Items shipped back without first requesting an exchange will not be accepted. Once we receive and verify the exchanged item(s), we will dispatch the replacement size or style and ship it to you.

The Living Edit reserves the right to refuse any exchange that does not meet the requirements listed above. If your exchange is declined, the item will be returned to you at your cost, and no refund will be issued.


Damages and Issues

If you receive an item that is damaged or faulty, please inform us within 24 hours of delivery. Email connect@thelivingedit.com with clear images of the damage, relevant details, and your order number in the subject line.

A few things worth noting about the additions:

  • The 5–10 business day refund timeline is a standard placeholder — adjust it to reflect your actual processing time.
  • The line about not covering return shipping protects you from cost, but you can soften it by offering free return shipping as a goodwill gesture on a case-by-case basis.
  • The return and exchange windows are both 14 days, which keeps things consistent and easy for customers to remember.
